  • Health Testing & Screening: Dogs competing in Crufts must meet strict health and welfare requirements, with health screenings for breeds prone to genetic conditions.

  • Brachycephalic Breed Awareness: Increased awareness campaigns to ensure flat-faced breeds, such as Bulldogs and Pugs, are bred responsibly to avoid health complications. Read more here on the 2025 changes.

  • Encouraging Responsible Ownership: Talks and expert panels focus on educating owners about ethical breeding, proper care, and dog well-being.

  • Rescue & Rehoming Focus: Dedicated areas highlight the importance of dog adoption and rehoming initiatives, promoting responsible pet ownership.
